The firm’s Principal, William Bethurum IV PE is recognized as an expert in the design of large scale facilities. Mr. Bethurum has more than 20 years experience throughout a wide variety of industries including oil & gas, industrial process and manufacturing, water/wastewater, advanced technology, governmental, commercial, mission critical facilities and data centers.
Returning to Southern California after college Mr. Bethurum began his career designing oil and gas facilities while studying finance at Cal State Long Beach where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma academic honor society with 4.0 GPA. During his first year out of college he was lead engineer on a $30M water processing project for a major Los Angeles refinery. After returning to Arizona in the mid ’90s he joined with former employer Jacobs Engineering to design local microelectronic facilities. He started Industrial Power Engineering Corp. (later renamed General Power Engineering) in 1996 and a subsequent partnership with Day and Zimmermann Int’l. led to a lead engineering position at Intel Fab 12 and design of large scale microelectronic facilities including a $60M microelectronic facility for Motorola in Austin, TX. In 2006, partnering with local process engineer RT Engineers he engineered a $90M, 8MGD wastewater treatment facility expansion for the City of Surprise. In 2012 he completed a $50M mission critical facility located in Arizona and currently under construction. Major clients include or have included,

By way of industry credentials, Mr. Bethurum is a graduate of Arizona State University and is a registered electrical engineer in the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico, and member of National Society of Professional Engineers, International Association of Electrical Inspectors (Associate), and Illuminating Engineering Society.
Personal interests include architectural design, construction, running and strength training, and golf. Married to wife Katrina. Family includes (4) children, Jacob, Sydney, Isabella, and Gianna. Pets include (3) large dogs, (1) cat. Personal accomplishments include a solo descent of KT22 peak in Squaw Valley in near darkness at the age of 10. A former surfer, skater, and bass player. A life long LA Dodgers fan.
East Saile – I have close to 20 years experience as a technical designer, 5 of those years being with VoltaUS. I am hard-working, reliable, and determined with a semi-adventurous personality. In my spare time, I enjoy macro & landscape photography, off-roading, and jet-skiing. I’m also a collector and an avid sports fan.
Jasmine Downing – I am originally from Milwaukee, WI. I take pride in adding some “Midwest flava” to the Valley of the Sun. My professional background consist of 15+ years experience in accounting, finance, and business management for various types of industries. Outside of VoltaUS, I teach & manage aspiring models and actors, while also modeling and acting myself. Most people consider me a social butterfly because I enjoy the social scenes of good people, nice music, and deep conversations. I believe in doing what you love & live by the motto, “Make your next move your best move.”
Joel Siken – I relocated from Northern California to attend school at Arizona State University while majoring in Electrical Engineering. I believe in having great work ethics, such as being productive, efficient, and effective. When I’m not at work, I enjoy chopping wood, hiking, and eating bacon. My personality is fun & encouraging, but I can also be a bit sarcastic. Although most simply know me as “Joel,” I prefer to go by my nickname, “Joel, The Man.”
Naga Borra – I started my career as a Software Engineer at Mindtree (multi-national IT services company) right after completing my Bachelor’s Degree in India. I then set off for the United States to pursue a Master’s Degree in Electric Power and Energy Systems, which I did receive from Arizona State University. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, watching movies and TV series. I have a special interest in science, astronomy and technology advances.

An avid sports fan, Gary’s personal interests include running (has competed in over thirty marathons!), golf, and travel. Married to wife Edie has four children and eight grandchildren.
